Pick the programme you are registering for. You only need to do this once — after that you apply for each examination from your portal.
Foundation in Information Technology
Rs 4,000Anyone starting the FIT programme. There is no entry qualification.
What you need
- An email address and a phone number we can send a code to
- An identity document — a National Identity Card if you are 18 or over
- Registration fee
One registration fee. Each examination you later apply for is paid separately.
Register for FITQualifying examination
Rs 3,500Applicants entering on prior qualifications, sitting a qualifying quiz or paper.
What you need
- A National Identity Card — the only document accepted here
- Your educational qualifications, with proof for some examinations
- Examination fee
Registering and applying for your first examination is one step. Nothing is saved until the payment succeeds.
Register for a qualifying examinationOrganization
Rs 20,000Private organizations having examinations conducted for their own candidates. Government institutions are set up by the eLC instead.
What you need
- Your registration number and a website we can check
- A Business Registration document, or the equivalent for your registration type
- Registration fee, by card or GovPay
Your account works as soon as you pay, but requesting an examination waits until the QE Admin approves your document.

Already registered? Go to the FIT login or the qualifying examination login instead of registering again.
